Hi baseball fans, (& superstition believers),

I’m Robert Brown, and have been a fan of the game all my life. It began growing up in New Jersey with my dad taking me out to games in the city every chance we’d get. There’s something about the sport, the camaraderie and the memories made that is instinctively American.

However growing up, I was influenced by my mother as well. “Don’t walk under a ladder”, “beware of black cats crossing your path” and many more were sayings I’d hear over and over again.

Naturally, with an belief in superstitions what really got me excited was to see that many of my baseball hero’s believed too. Their rituals before games, what they did, how they prepared, fascinates me. So this site is for all of their beliefs, send in what you’ve got and we’ll start a collection online for everyone to enjoy.
